If you would like to make Jesus the Savior and Lord of your life, then pray this prayer from your heart:
Dear God,
I come to you. I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I need a Savior, I can't save myself. I believe that you sent your Son Jesus to pay the price for my sins. I believe that through His death (the shedding of His blood) my sins are forgiven. I believe that you raised Him from dead. I accept what Jesus did on the cross as the only way of forgiveness and eternal life.
I ask you now to forgive me of my sins and from this day forward be the Lord of my life. Help me to follow you whole heartedly all the days of my life.

Let me give you 4 things to do that will help you in your walk with the Lord:
1. Pray everyday. It's very important to talk to God on a daily basis. (Besides, He loves you and enjoys spending time with you.)
2. Read the Bible everyday. This is where you will learn what the will of God is and how He expects you to live.
3. Go To church. Go to a church that preaches the whole Bible and will help you grow. The fellowship with other Christians is very important. (We gain strength, help and encouragement from each other.)
4. Testify. It's very important that you share with someone what has just happened to you. You need to testify to others about the forgiveness you have just received from the Lord. It will make you strong and Jesus said that if you confess Him before men; He will confess you before the Father. (Matthew 10:32) That means everytime you tell someone about Jesus being your Savior and Lord; He tells the Father about you.
Are you saved? Are you sure you will go to Heaven when you die?
It is not a question of how good you are, nor if you are a church member, but are you saved? In order to be saved and go to heaven you must--
Realize that you are a sinner:
"All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
Sin separates you from God:
"But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." (Isaiah 59:2)
You need a Savior:
“For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23)
You can't save yourself:
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9)
God loved you and provided a way for you to be saved through Jesus:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever would believe in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
“God demonstrates His love toward us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
Put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior:
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved." (Acts 16:31)
Confess our sins:
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." (Romans 10:9,10)
Repent of your sins:
"I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:319)
"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out." (Acts 3:19)
Be baptised:
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38)
